Privacy Notice
Our Turn Kitchen is designed for adults to create parent-guided visual cooking instructions. Children do not create accounts or provide information directly.
Information a grown-up may provide
- The signed-in adult’s account email and optional display name.
- An optional child-chef first name or nickname and age range.
- Optional photographs of household ingredients, tools, or measuring equipment. Our Turn Kitchen does not request or accept child profile photos.
- Saved recipes, picture preferences, cooking progress, Kitchen Wins, and recipes the adult intentionally shares with the founding-family community.
- Feedback the adult chooses to email to our support address.
How information is used
We use family information only to provide, secure, synchronize, support, and improve Our Turn Kitchen and respond to requests. We do not sell family information, run behavioral advertising, or use private kitchen photos to train artificial-intelligence models.
Kitchen photos and family content
Ingredient and tool photos are optional and available only through the signed-in adult account. Our Turn Kitchen uses built-in icons for My Turn, Our Turn, and Grown-Up Turn instead of child photos. Families can use built-in kitchen images, remove individual items, or delete all saved family data from Family Data controls.
Community recipes
A signed-in adult may choose to put a saved recipe on the founding-family community board. The board shares the recipe title, source link when available, age range, ingredients, visual steps, and built-in pictures with other approved beta accounts. It does not share the account email, child-chef profile, Kitchen Wins, cooking progress, or personal ingredient and tool photos. The adult can remove a shared recipe from the board at any time.
Service providers and beta access
Our Turn Kitchen relies on infrastructure, sign-in, storage, and email providers to operate the service. These providers process limited information on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. Payment is not being collected during the invitation-only beta.
Retention and deletion
Saved family content remains until the adult removes it, closes the account, or the service no longer needs it for the stated purpose. Deletion controls permanently remove saved profiles, kitchen-item photos, recipes, community shares, progress, and Kitchen Wins associated with the account, subject to limited legal, fraud-prevention, and backup obligations.
Adult responsibility and children’s privacy
Our Turn Kitchen is intended for adults to set up and supervise. Do not allow a child to create an account or upload information independently. Avoid names or profile details that are not needed to guide the cooking activity.
