Beta Terms
These terms govern adult use of the Our Turn Kitchen founding-family beta. By creating or using a family account, the adult account holder agrees to them.
Adult, supervised use
The account holder must be at least 18 and is responsible for every child’s use. Our Turn Kitchen turn labels are teaching cues—not permission for a child to cook alone. An adult must check the original recipe and supervise ingredients, allergies, food handling, heat, electricity, appliances, and sharp tools.
Not professional advice
Our Turn Kitchen reorganizes user-selected recipes for visual use. It does not provide medical, dietary, allergy, occupational-therapy, nutritional, or food-safety advice and does not guarantee that imported or community recipe information is complete or accurate.
Your content
The account holder retains rights to content they provide and grants Our Turn Kitchen permission to store, process, resize, and display that content only as needed to operate the service. Optional uploads are limited to household ingredients, tools, measuring equipment, and other non-child kitchen images. The account holder confirms they have authority to upload every image and recipe they submit.
Community sharing
When the account holder chooses to share a saved recipe, they authorize Our Turn Kitchen to display that recipe to other approved beta accounts until it is removed. Account emails, child-chef profiles, cooking history, and personal kitchen photos are excluded from the community copy. Other families may save and adapt the shared recipe in their own kitchens. The person sharing a recipe confirms they have the right to share its content and should preserve any original source attribution.
Invitation-only beta
Current beta access is free for invited adult testers. No payment card is required and no subscription begins automatically. If paid plans are offered later, separate terms and explicit consent will be presented before any charge.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, access another family’s information, upload images of children or unlawful or harmful content, share content you do not have permission to share, interfere with security, or use Our Turn Kitchen to replace responsible adult supervision.
Beta availability
This is an early service. Features may change, and interruptions or data loss are possible. Families should keep the original recipe and copies of anything they cannot replace. We may suspend access when necessary to protect users or the service.
Ending use
The account holder may stop using Our Turn Kitchen and delete family data through the available controls. Deleting a saved recipe removes its community-board copy. Provisions concerning safety, ownership, limitations, and lawful recordkeeping continue where applicable.
